TCPA outbound checklist
Use this checklist before every outbound campaign. It is a starting point for your own process, not legal advice.
Before the campaign
Confirm consent sources, scrub lists and set calling windows.
During the campaign
Honor opt-outs immediately and watch complaint signals.
After the campaign
Keep records of what was screened, called and suppressed.
The checklist
- Consent on file
- Know where consent for each number came from and what it covers.
- National and internal DNC
- Scrub against the National DNC Registry and your own do-not-call list.
- Litigator screening
- Flag numbers associated with litigation and complaint activity.
- Line type check
- Apply mobile consent rules to autodialed and prerecorded calls.
- Fake-number check
- Remove reserved 555 numbers, repeats and sequences.
- Calling hours
- Respect permitted hours in the recipient's local time zone.
- Opt-out handling
- Stop calling or texting promptly when asked.
- Records
- Keep screening results, consent proof and call logs.
How it works
- 01
Upload a CSV, paste numbers or send them through the API.
- 02
Each number is screened against the lists enabled on your account.
- 03
Get carrier, line type, region and an estimated time zone in the same result.
- 04
Review flagged numbers, export clean lists and keep the history as a record.
FAQ
General information, not legal advice. Screening results do not establish consent or legal compliance.
